Coniston & surrounding area / Carlisle 5th & 6th December 2015 19:14hrs 62/2015

The weekend brought major disruption to the area. This was caused by flooding which manifested from prolonged rain on already saturated ground and full water levels.

The Team was asked to be on standby for any incidents which arose. Members made their availability known to the Team Leader.

We assisted local people as and when required, as well as deploying a Swift Water Rescue Team to Carlisle.
