Scafell area

Incident 56 of 2024:-

It was a wet evening when we received a request from Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team, to assist with a search in the Scafell area for a missing walker. The team was asked for their availability whilst more details were being obtained. However, fortunately, just before a vehicle left the Base, the missing person had been found safe and well off the fell, and we were therefore stood down.
7 Team members attended for 1 hour.
