If you live within the Coniston area and wish to wish to become an active member of Coniston Mountain Rescue Team then please complete our Membership Application by using the online form below.
Applicants will be invited to discuss their application with the Team Leader and others. You will be expected to make a commitment to attend call outs, training and fund raising events as much as possible. If successful you will initially join the team as a Probationary member and be assigned a mentor to provide support and guidance as you complete the required training programme. Obviously, the more time you spend out on the fell with the team and attend regular training sessions the more you will learn and the quicker you will progress to a full team member.
