Force Forge 11th January 2014 10:45hrs 2/2014

It was a dry, sunny morning. We had been asked by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with the evacuation of a lady near Force Forge.

She had been walking with her husband above Force Beck when she had slipped and fallen into the water. She was stretchered to the waiting Air Ambulance and taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary.

19 team members attended this incident which took 1 ½ hours.
