Grizedale Forest 18th June 13:20hrs 26/2016

The weather was fine.

The team were contacted by NWAS to an incident involving a young male with an injury to his shoulder. A full team call out was initiated and the first Land Rover left the base to rendezvous with the ambulance and air ambulance near the visitors centre at Grizedale.

On the way the team were stood down by NWAS who had been informed that the casualty’s parents were taking him to hospital.

This call out lasted 40 minutes and 7 team members attended.
