The Team was called by CUMPOL regarding a couple who had been walking in the Bogle Crag area and become benighted, it does get very dark in the forest and without a torch and failing mobile phone batteries they were struggling to navigate their way back to their vehicle. We took two vehicles, just in case we needed to split up and locate them, but we found them on the track very easily and reunited them with their car, so they could go home. Then we did the same in time for tea!
15 volunteer members attended, and the incident was completed in 1 hour.
