Incident 38 of 2023:-
01/08/23, 17.25, Nettle Crag, SD277967
It was a drizzly and low-cloud day as a woman and her son descended from the Old Man of Coniston to the south. They lost the path, and called for help. Cumbria Police alerted us, and we were eventually able to locate them using a phone-finder function. We despatched one Land Rover to collect them, as they were not far from the Walna Scar road.
