Incident 19 of 2024:-

On a cool and wet evening, a walker became lost and cold in the Blawith Fells and called Cumbria Police for help. They located him by Beacon Tarn, and asked us to bring him down. We despatched two Land Rovers in case a search was required, but found him easily. He was given a dry jacket and a warm drink before we escorted him down to our vehicles and took him back to our base to meet his wife.
