Incident 46 of 2024:-
03/08/24, 12.31, Tarn Hows, NY334002
Despite the late finish in the rain last night on Incident 45, the team was called into action again by North West Ambulance Service on a warm day to assist a lady having medical issues at Tarn Hows. Two Land Rovers were despatched and one was able to use the path to get to the lady directly.
She was assessed and then driven to the main car park for further examination. It was eventually decided that she had recovered enough not to need a land ambulance, but advised to present at Furness General Hospital for a check over.
15 volunteer team members attended, and the incident lasted for 1 hours and 45 minutes.
