Cumbria Police was alerted to a casualty by a member of the public and tasked the job to us. However, the exact location was difficult to ascertain and unfortunately we were unable to contact the caller. At the beginning of the deployment the TL rang CUMPOL expressing her concerns. It transpired that the casualty was in Langdale & Ambleside MRT’s area, so the job was transferred to them. We stood ourselves down and returned to Base.
