Incident 13 of 2024:-

It was a wet Cumbrian afternoon, and a party of four, walking around Black Fell, were soaked and lost. Cumbria Police asked us to help, providing the party’s location on a bridleway. We despatched one Land Rover, drove to their position, and assessed them as being well enough to carry on. Since they had become disorientated and were quite a few miles from their vehicle, we therefore drove them back to their own vehicle.
8 volunteer team members attended for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
