It had been a cool and damp morning in the Lakes when NorthWest Ambulance Service called us about a lady who had a serious medical issue on Claife Heights. We despatched two Land Rovers and were able to drive quite close to her on farm tracks. She was assessed before being carried on our stretcher to a waiting land ambulance on the road in Far Sawry. She was then driven to Furness General Hospital.
12 team members attended this incident, which took 2 hours and 25 minutes.
