Incident 3 of 2020:-
18/1/20, 18:06hrs, Old Man of Coniston, SD276967
A party of three had become lost descending the Old Man without torches. CUMPOL (Cumbria Police) asked us to help them, and we dispatched two Land Rovers to locate them and escort them down. They were found quite close to the Walna Scar Road, and taken back to their car.
This incident was attended by 9 volunteer team members, and lasted 1hr 25mins.
