Incident 16 of 2024:-
10/03/24, 14.25, Orrest Head area, SD413995
It was a damp afternoon when NWAS asked us to go to the assistance of a gentleman who had an ankle injury and could not weight bear.
Initial information gave the location as being in the forest, south of Esthwaite Water. However, after successfully sending a link using the Phonefind system, it was ascertained that the exact location was in the Orrest Head area near Windermere. The incident was therefore transferred to our neighbouring team, Langdale & Ambleside MRT and we stood down.
