Whilst the first casualty was being attended to, another walker was passing the Land Rovers when he slipped on ice. 

He suffered a laceration to his finger which needed attention using the First Aid equipment which is permanently housed in each of the vehicles. He was able to drive to the Base where he received further treatment and pain relief before he left.

There were 17 Team personnel who were involved with both these incidents, which lasted 1 1/4 hours.
