Incident 3 of 2023:-

Northwest Ambulance Service called us to help a man who had fallen and apparently had a serious leg injury near Tarn Hows on a cold, clear afternoon. We despatched two Land Rovers, but, on arrival, found that he had stoically got himself back to the car park. He was assessed and his leg splinted, then helped into his car for his wife to drive him to Furness General Hospital.
11 volunteer members attended for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
