Incident number 8 of 2021:-
07/05/2021, 15.58, Tilberthwaite, NY306009
On a mild and sunny Spring day, a man had a climbing accident and a long fall. He was able to make his way down from the quarry to the car park. We were asked by NW Ambulance Service to assist, and sent two Land Rovers. The casualty was fully assessed for several injuries, fortunately none severe, and he was handed over to the Land Ambulance when it arrived.
15 volunteer members attended this incident, which took 1.5 hours.
