Janice and Christyne attended a two day trauma training course in Hope Derbyshire. An annual course held by Edale Mountain Rescue Team.
The course covered many subjects, from Airway, breathing, circulation, spinal injuries, acute coronary syndrome, traumatic brain injury, femur and pelvis injuries to name but a few subjects.
Both already hold the casualty care certificate and the course offered an excellent opportunity to refresh previous experience as well as learn new techniques and the latest best practise. With some top quality instruction reinforced with realistic, demanding and enjoyable scenarios. It was a high value course suitable for a wide range of students and is highly recommended to other Mountain Rescue team members.
