07/08/23, 17.22, Yewdale Crag, SD306991
It was a damp and murky late afternoon when Cumbria Police called us to help a man who was cragfast on Yewdale Crag, close to the White Lady waterfall. He was well off-course, and was descending steep ground with no path when he became stuck and called for help. Once we had ascertained his exact position, we despatched two Land Rovers and scrambled up beside the beck to lead him down.
