Incident 1 of 2024:-
01/01/24, 00.35, Cross Fell area, North Pennines

Just past midnight the Team Leadership received a request for assistance via an LDSAMRA Silver Alert. Penrith Mountain Rescue had been tasked to search for a missing runner. They now required help with the search and the request was sent to all the Teams in the Lake District, asking for members’ availability.
Coniston responded with numbers they could send and were asked to standby. However the missing person was found at lunchtime and the Team was stood down.
