Incident 8 of 2025:-
19/03/25, 15.22, Blawith Fells, SD276912
Our second incident of the day involved a young man walking with his dog near Beacon Tarn. He slipped and fell, injuring his ankle and was unable to walk, so called for help. We despatched two Land Rovers, located him and assessed him. His ankle was put into a splint and pain relief given. We then carried him on our stretcher to the road, where he was carefully loaded into a family vehicle for onward transport to Furness General Hospital.
11 volunteer members attended this incident, which lasted for just over two hours.
