Incident 9 of 2025:-
23/03/25, 12.20, Claife Heights, SD383971
It was a lovely Spring day, but the overnight rain had made paths muddy. A man, walking with friends, slipped, injured his ankle, and was unable to walk further. Cumbria Poice called us out, and we despatched two Land Rovers, with one local member going direct. The casualty was assessed, pain relief given and the ankle placed in a splint. He was then stretchered down to Ash Landing car park, and carefully loaded into his partner’s car for the trip to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
14 volunteer members attended this incident, which lasted for two hours and 55 minutes.
