The weather was warm with hazy sunshine.

We were called to help NWAS (North West Ambulance Service) with the evacuation of a local lady who had a medical condition which needed attention. Unfortunately a land ambulance was not available for quite  a while and therefore the Great North Air Ambulance had been requested. They had landed in a field in the village and we were tasked to transport the lady to the helicopter.

7  Team Members attended this incident which took 1 hour.
