Incident 13 of 2025:-
09/04/25, 18.53, Coniston Water, SD309969 (unconfirmed)
It was a sunny and mild spring evening when we were asked by CUMPOL (Cumbria Police) to help the SAR Coastguard with an incident on Coniston Water. Someone was in difficulty on a canoe or paddle board. The Team Leader spoke to the Coastguard HQ and was then informed the person was fortunately now safe on the shore. The Team was therefore stood down.
15 members responded and the incident took about 15 mins.
