Incident 62 of 2024:-
22/10/24, 10.44, Holme Fell, NY315009
It was a fine autumn day when a man walking on Holme Fell slipped and hurt his knee. He was with a team member who initiated the callout. We despatched all three Land Rovers to Hodge Close quarry and walked up to the casualty from there. He was assessed, the leg splinted, and then carried down on our stretcher to wait for a land ambulance at Hodge Close. He was then taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
15 volunteer team members attended this incident, which took 3 hours and 8 minutes.
