Rescue huskies hike for Mountain Rescue

 

 

Horse and Huskies first full pack walk of 10 huskies/husky crosses and 2 horses over cumbrian fells to take place Friday 11th April to raise money for Mountain Rescue. 

All the huskies are re-homed/rescued dogs usually because they have too much energy for a typical domestic setting.  Having now been trained as sled dogs they have settled well as a pack. 

We train and work over the Cumbrian fells and are always happy to know we have the ultimate back up of mountain rescue so wanted to do our bit.  Our horses Rapport and Toby guide other riders with their horses over miles of this spectacular countryside.
